The new Messagemate VoiceDirector was designed to take radically different approach.

VoiceDirector Operator bypasses the limitations of yesterday's technology and asks the caller who they would like to speak with.

The caller responds with the name and VoiceDirector does the rest - it's that simple!

VoiceDirector's intelligent Speech Recognition technology enables more than 80% of inbound callers to reach their intended contact without operator assistance. Callers simply say the name of person or department they require and VoiceDirector automatically transfers the call.

Outbound callers have never had it so easy - VoiceDirector Personal enables you to simply pick up the handset and say the name of your contact person and you are connected. You can store up to 3,000 numbers and 500 email addresses in your personal directory

All this without annoying spoken menus and pressing buttons!

How does it work?

VoiceDirector connects to both your digital telephone system by So-Bus and your computer system via LAN. A staff member acts as administrator and allocates an IP address for the VoiceDirector; he or she then populates a common database with details of your entire staff (Name, Department, telephone extension number and email address).

To access the system each user keys-in the IP address of the VoiceDirector (once) to install a personal directory on to their PC. This personal director works synchronously with MS-Contacts or Lotus-Notes and these contact names are then available to the user.

For users to then make outbound calls, all that's required is for them to call the VoiceDirector which responds "VoiceDirector" and say the name of their contact person....its that easy!

Callers can also SEND emails from their extension or from their mobile.

How much does it cost?

VoiceDirector comes in two versions, one for inbound calls called "Operator" and one for outbound calls called "Personal". Then depending on the size of your organisation and the channel capacity needed there is a model to suit from 10 to 2000 users.
